The Alliance of Fine Art

The Alliance of Fine Art (AFA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, dedicated to the advancement of fine art education and appreciation, sharing resources,
and providing opportunities for artists. We are comprised of 12 different art leagues including the Lemont Artists Guild and have two events each year, a high school student scholarship competition and our Best of the Best Show which is comprised of award winning art from each of the 12 art leagues. There are usually over 80 pieces of artwork, that is judged and prize money is awarded. We have a reception and award ceremony at both events. See below for the 2022 Information!

Alliance of Fine Art (AFA) 2022 Student Scholarship Competition Exhibit Information:

Part of the mission of the Alliance of Fine Art is to encourage and support art education. Each year the Alliance gives four monetary scholarships to high school art students through an art scholarship competition. Four scholarships are awarded: two students receive $500 scholarships and two students are awarded $250 to further their art education. Each participating art organization submits the work of 2 high school students for the competition. This artwork will be on display from March 9-12, 2022 at the Naperville Art League/Gallery located at 508 N. Center St., Naperville, IL. Congratulations to the winners and to all the artists in the show, there are over 50 artists showing, and only 8 awards, everyone did a great job, including LAG artists: Michael Preski, Lynn Rozycki, Cheryl Ferber, Jackie Uznanski, Terry Moore, Mary Kodl Truesdale, and Diane Harn! Way to go!
