Reception: January 5th, 2025, from 1 - 3 PM. It is open to all ages, families are welcome.
See the work of local artist, photographer, and LCA commissioner Brad Tammaro.
Brad has been a working photographer for 20 years. Whether it’s been documenting a wedding or sporting event, wandering around in nature, or walking around his backyard with a camera in hand, he is constantly looking for that next great photograph.
When he puts the camera down, Brad uses ink and paper to create canvases that help him process thoughts around religion, myth, and story. The ink drawings also work as a form of active meditation. Ink & Feathers will combine a series of ink drawings with photo prints of birds, a recurrent subject in Brad's personal photo work.

While being a separate organization from LAG, the Lemont Art and Culture Commission was formerly housed at Lemont Center for the Arts (LCA). It had exhibits of original artwork and a gift shop with jewelry and handcrafted gifts from local artists on display and for sale. The Lemont Art & Culture Commission is a group of seven appointed members with the mission of enriching the community by cultivating and promoting the appreciation of our heritage through public Art. The Commission has completed several community art projects to date including the downtown mosaic planters at the Village Hall and along Stephen Street; the Stephen Street Bridge mosaics; and the "Pride of Lemont" mural on Front Street. The Lemont Center for the Arts location was run with the commissioners and volunteers, some of which were also LAG members. They had to to close their location at 1243 State Street in Lemont, IL, but are in search of finding a new location. Please support the Lemont Art and Culture Commission and if you want to volunteer or have any ideas for a location in Lemont, please visit their website and contact them or see their email, below.
