"Micro/Macro" Open Call, Juried Exhibit

Explore the intersection of scale in 'Micro/Macro,' where the smallest details and the grandest scenes collide. This exhibit invites artists to examine how tiny, often overlooked elements connect to larger realities, creating a dialogue between the minute and the monumental. Whether zooming in on intricate textures or capturing sweeping vistas, we encourage works that highlight the relationship between the micro and macro worlds.
FEES AND COMMISSION:
A non-refundable entry fee of $25 for up to two entries must accompany the entry form at the time of submission.
The gallery retains a 30% commission from any sale of work during the exhibit.
Work may be marked NFS (not for sale).
AWARDS:
Awards will be given for First, Second, Third Place, and an Honorable Mention.
The curator for the exhibit is Kristin Murphy.

"Open Lens XV" Juried Exhibit
Deadline for Entries: April 30, 2025
EXHIBITION DATES: June 1st through July 6th, 2025.

The call for entries begins April 1st and runs through April 30th. So sort through your image library, choose your best images and send them to us by the end of April. Submission is by digital files only.
Calling All Photographers! Weekend photographers or professionals, youngsters or seniors, digital or film, color or black and white; all genres, the only exception being AI generated* imagery. All are invited to enter Open Lens XV, the annual juried fine art photography exhibition hosted by Gallery Seven in downtown Lockport IL.
Open Lens XV will be juried and judged by the artist partners of Gallery Seven. Anyone can enter up to 5 original images for a non-refundable fee of $35. Best in Show, 1st, 2nd, 3rd place, and three Honorable Mentions will be awarded a cash prize.

The Elmhurst Artists’ Guild (EAG) is sponsoring a juried art exhibition: Honoring Hokusai in our gallery located in the Elmhurst Art Museum. This call for art is inspired by the Cleve Carney Museum of Art at the College of DuPage 2025 Summer exhibition: HOKUSAI & UKIYO-E | The Floating World.
Fee: A non-refundable fee of $35: fee will be collected through the EAG website. Up to 3 entries may be reviewed for acceptance. Payment is not a guarantee of acceptance. All work will be reviewed by the curatorial committee.
