2025 Plein Air with the Lemont Artists Guild

We are getting excited to for this Summer of 2025 with some Plein Air Events!

Starting Monday, June 2, 10 am to 12 pm, and we will meet every other Monday after this summer.  Dates and Locations will be listed in the coming months.

Participate with the Lemont Artists Guild to enjoy "Plein Air", the art of painting and drawing in the outdoors. We will get out of the studio and into nature and bring our supplies to be able to do artwork outdoors. There are no requirements of what to create, you can sketch or draw or paint or both! We have a variety of artists and welcome you to create artwork with us!

You are responsible for your own supplies but can enjoy the company of others as you create!

Suggested items to bring along are a chair/tiny table or easel/flat surface you can easily transport, some water, snacks or lunch, bug spray and sunscreen, of course your transportable art supplies, and anything else you wish to assist in your time enjoying Plein Air!  We always hope for good weather but will have to cancel if the weather conditions are bad.  There are no requirements of what to create, you can sketch or draw or paint or both!  We have a variety of artists and welcome you to create artwork with us!  Remember to wear comfortable clothing and comfortable shoes that are weather appropriate.  Please remember that artists participate at their own risk

and are responsible for their own safety and belongings.

We will be emailing more detailed information about the locations to our Interest List.  While we will do our best to keep the below information updated, our emails to those on the Interest List will also include cancellations or date changes if they are last minute so you want to be on the list for the most up to date information!!!
